"How to Bicycle with Style for Women and Men" at the Powerhouse Museum, Friday 16 October 2015, 6-8pm

Have you wanted to start bicycling to work but can’t quite put it together? Do you find the idea of carrying extra clothes and showering at work daunting? You don’t have to!

Come along for an interactive chat with Sarah Imm of Vélo-à-Porter as part of the Sydney Rides Festival. You’ll be able to try out some different bicycles including e-bikes, cargos and dutch-style bikes provided by Omafiets Dutch Bicycles, Redfern. Learn how to “lift off” in a skirt and heels. See some stylish clothing options for women and men that work at the office and on the bicycle.

You could win one of many prizes on the night including a Linus Eleanor Bag from Cyclestyle.com.au, (one of Vélo-à-Porter’s favourites!), one of two year-long subscriptions to Treadlie Magazine and many more!

We’ll also be having a Dutch-auction for a Gazelle City Zen S9 valued at $1399 (Vélo-à-Porter’s current bicycle). Leona Edmiston from Westfield Sydney and TM Lewin will present a capsule collection of Spring/Summer 2015 for sale on the night all at the Powerhouse Museum cafe!

  1. Good day! I could have sworn I’ve been to your blog before but after looking at a few of the posts I realized it’s new to me.
Nonetheless, I’m certainly pleased I came across it and I’ll be book-marking it and checking
    back regularly!
